Article 7 para. 1 letter A and B Ordinance on health insurance benefits, OPAS.
The care provided by Soinsuisse is reimbursed by Health Insurance (LAMal) for people with insurance coverage, in accordance with current Swiss legislation.
Rates apply only to LAMal policyholders. For international policyholders, rates are subject to a quote.
Assessment
CHF 76.90/hour
The nurse assesses the patient's needs and develops a personalized care plan, working with doctors and other healthcare professionals. They also support the patient in managing their illness, advising them on both the use of medical devices and the correct use of treatments.
Nursing care CHF 63/hour
Routine nursing care services, including: health monitoring, blood sugar control, preparation and administration of medications, gastrostomy and bladder care, administration of enemas, dressings, injections, infusions and vaccinations, setting up oxygen therapy as well as therapeutic massages.
Basic care
CHF 52.60/hour
Services provided by nursing assistants: washing in bed, at the sink or in the shower, assistance with dressing and transfers, putting on support stockings or bandages, support with eating, hydration and elimination, assistance with mobilization and prevention of falls, bedsores, hygiene care and support with taking treatments.
PARTICIPATION
In accordance with the entry into force of the new federal healthcare financing regime on 01.01.2019, according to the regulation (LAMal)
CHF 8.–/day of care at the patient’s expense *
